Yuri Alexeyevich Ryzhov was the person, whose participation in politics gave politics and the country a smart and humane face. His service as a deputy and a diplomat will remain an example of a stainless and disinterested service to Russia by a person, scientist, intellectual, who views his civil duty this way – honestly and uncompromisingly.
These years Yuri Ryzhov’s every word was penetrated with the truth about the situation in the country and pain caused by his concern for its present and future. We will be proud of having been his contemporaries.
